Ditipriya Roy is an Indian television and film actress who specially appears in Bengali Serials and Films. She also works in the Bengali Web series. She is an interesting part of the Bengali Serial Industry.
She got the most popularity for portraying the character of “Rani Rashmoni”. Right now she is working on her upcoming movies. And very soon, she is going to debut in a Bollywood movie.
Ditipriya was born on 10th August 2002 in India. She is belonging to a Bengali Hindu family. Her father, Alok Shankar Roy is a Professional Veterinary Doctor and also an actor and her mother’s name is Sudipta Roy who is a housewife.
Ditipriya was got admission to Partha Bhavan, Kolkata. She got 82.4% marks in Higher Secondary Examining 2020. And also she is pursuing graduation from Ashutosh College.
Ditipriya started her acting career in her earlier life. She started her tv career as a child artist and worked in “Durga”, “Aparajito”, “Byomkesh”, “Tomay Amag Mile”, ” Tare Ami Chokhe Dekhini” etc.
She played a role in ” Rajkahani”, directed by Srijit Mukherjee and the film was released in 2015. It was her first film. And after 2 years later, she was offered to play a role in a Bengali Serial, ” Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni”. The serial was released in 2017 and as of July 2020, the serial completed more than 1000 episodes. It was shown on Zee Bangla.
She is also acted in some Bengali films, like “Rajkahini”, “Dev: I Love You”, “Avijatrik”, “Achena Uttam”, “Kolkata Chalantika” etc.
Ditipriya Roy also came in Some reality shows like “Dadagiri Unlimited” and Didi No. 1 as Contestant and also she appeared in “Dance Bangla Dance Season 11” as a Guest.
