Aindrita Ray is an Indian film actress who appears in Kannada Films. She started her life as an actress starring in “Meravanige” in 2007. After that, she appeared in many commercial successful Kannada Films.
Aindrita is well known for the critically acclaimed performance of Devika. In that film, she played a role of a mental challenge in “Manasaare”.
Aindrita Ray was born on 3rd March 1985 at Udaipur, Rajasthan. She is the little daughter of her parents.
She belongs to a Hindu family in Udaipur, where she spent her childhood. Her father is A.K. Ray worked in the Indian Air Force. Her family moved from one place to another and finally, they settled in Bangalore, being a prosthodontist and working in Air Force.
Aindrita Ray has studied at an early age at Baldwin Girls High School which is in Bangalore. Then she joined a Dental college name of B. R. Ambedkar to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Dental Science.
She has also done per- time Modelling while Studying in College. And also appeared in many Television Advertisements.
After 10 years of courtship, Aindrita Ray married actor Diganth Manchale on 12th December 2018.
She began her acting career by appearing in a song of a Kannada Film in 2006, starring Harsha and Dhyaan. Her first film is
“Meravanige” was released in 2008. She played the role of “Nandini”. That film received a great successful response at the Box Office and she made a great impression with her performance and her dancing abilities. She also made a Cameo in “Mast Majaa Madi” in the same year.
After that, she appeared in many Successful Kannada Films like “Junglee” (2009), “Vayuputra” (2009), “Love Guru” (2009), “Nooru Janmaku” (2010), ” Nannavanu” (2010), ” Manasina Maathu” (2011), ” Dhool” (2011), ” Prem Adda” (2012), ” Rajani Kantha” (2013), ” Kaddipudi” (2013), ” Sharp Shooter” (2015), ” John Jani Janardhan” (2016), “Melkote Manja” (2017), ” Raambo 2″ (2018). Also, she acted in many other Kannada Films.
Aindrita Ray achieved many Filmfare awards and others for her performance and acting skills. She won AKKA Awards for best actress in 2010. And also won 1st SIIMA Awards for Best Supporting Actress in “Paramathma”. Also, she got Awards for “Veera Parampare”, “Paramathma”, “Bhajarangi”, ” Niruttara”.
