Career
Snigdhajit Bhowmik started his career in 2015 as a contestant with the television singing reality show The Voice India judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mika Singh. The next year, he participated in the Bengali music reality television show Phir Ashar Gaan in 2016. Snigdhajit won the first runner-up trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa of Zee Bangla in 2018. He recorded the Durga Puja special track on the label Amara Muzik.

Snigdhajit told all his friends that he was going to Delhi or Kolkata with his girlfriend but instead went to the hilly border area. He said, ‘Only my mother knew the truth. Aditi’s parents almost found us but you know who saved us? Villagers. Finally after a month I came back home. Things got worse, other members of my family abused my mother as I had run away and got married secretly. We were kicked out of the family and I was almost on the road with my parents and newly wed wife.
