Darshana Banik is an Indian Actress and Model who works in the Bengali, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu Film industries. She is one of the beautiful models and actresses of the Tollywood industry. She started her acting career as a Model then she has worked as Brand Ambassador in various Brands such as Colors, Vodafone, PC Chandra Jewellers, Vivel and Boroline etc.
Darshana Banik was born on 15 August 1994 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She belongs to a Bengali Hindu Family.
In her family, she has a brother named Debapriyo Banik. She studied in Bidhannagar Municipal School, Kolkata. She has completed her Undergraduate Degree from East Calcutta Girls College, Kolkata and also has done a Postgraduate degree from Rabindra Bharati University.
Darshana Banik started her career as a model when she was completing her college Life. She has made her film debut in “Aschhe Abar Shabor”, a Bengali film, released in 2018 and was directed by Arindam Sil. In the same year, she has also worked in another movie, name “Aami Ashbo Phirey”, directed by Anjan Dutt. She also worked in many Bengali films like as “Mukhomukhi” and “Network” in 2019, “Shororipu 2: Jotugriho” (2021), “Pratighat”(2021).
She also works in Hindi Films. She has made her debut in “Dybbuk”, which was released in 2021 and directed by Jay Krishnan.
Darshana Banik also appeared in some South Indian Films. She worked in a Telugu Film, “Aatagallu”, which was released in 2018 and directed by Paruchuri Murali. And also she is going to appear in a Tamil Movie “Yaarakkum Anjael” and the film was directed by Tamil Ranjit Jeyakodi which will be released in 2021.
She also appeared in Web Series like “Byomkesh” in 2021 which was released on Hoichoi. She played the character of Hena Mullick. Her other projects are “Six” in 2018, “Bou Keno Psycho” in 2019.
Darshana has recently worked in the movies like Jojo, Aatagallu and Aschhe Abar Shabor.
