Tiyasha Roy is a Bengali actress who especially appears in Bengali TV Serials. She is known primarily for her work in the extremely popular Bengali TV serial, “KRISHNAKOLI”.
She plays a Character of a dark skin middle-class girl, name SHYAMA. Tiyasha is an actress who started working in the Bengali TV Serials after her marriage. She is one of the most talented and skilful actresses in our Bengali TV serial Industry.
Tiyasha Roy was born on 16th August 1999 in Kolkata. She belongs to a Bengali Hindu Family. She was brought up in Bengali Hindu culture in Kolkata, the Capital City of our State. She is a second-year student and, she is pursuing her graduation from GOBARDANGA HINDU COLLEGE, West Bengal.
She used to work in theatre as she was very interested in acting. So her father helped her to get the opportunity to act in short dramas. She wanted to become an actress since her childhood but unfortunately, her dream could not succeed because of her marriage. But her husband proved that after marriage, one can fulfil their dreams if one gets the perfect helpful life partner.
She completed her dream of acting of becoming an actress in 2018. She made her debut with the Bengali TV Serial KRISHNAKOLI, which is a huge hit on social media. Actor NEEL BHATTACHARYA plays the male lead role opposite Tiyasha in the show.
The reel-life of NEEL and Tiyasha has a huge fan base in our state and also in Bangladesh. In these TV serials, she faces abuse for her dark skin which manages to impress the audience.
Tiyasha is playing the titular role and, the serial made her a household name almost overnight. Also, the Serial consistently performs well on the TRP charts and is mostly seen at the top position in the Bengali TV Industry.
KRISHNAKOLI has featured many twists and currently, she is playing a double role. Tiyasha plays AMRAPALI, a modern girl and village girl SHYAMA. Both the characters are different to each other but she is playing the characters very well. She also appeared in DADAGIRI and DIDI No 1 as a Guest.
In 2017, Tiyasha married actor Suban Roy. It was an arranged marriage, which took place in a short period. The discussion and preparation started on SHASHTI and she got married after two days of LAKSHMI PUJA.
Her husband is an actor who is currently seen in AAKASH AATH’S BIBAHA ABHIJAAN. In 2019, Tiyasha Roy Won Tele Academy Awards for Best Couple (as SHYAMA in KRISHNAKOLI) and in 2020, she won ZBFG Award from Favourite Actress (ZEE BANGLA fan-base Category).
