Pooja Banerjee is an Indian Actress and Model who appears mainly in Bengali movies, Bollywood and Hindi Television.
She is one of the Hottest actresses of Tollywood as well as she is known for her appearance in Hindi Serials. She got fame and name for playing “Vrinda” in the show, “Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna”, which came on Star Plus. She is also known for her work in Bengali movies.
Pooja Banerjee was born on 6th February 1987 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She belongs to a Hindu Family of West Bengal.
Pooja studied at St. Pauls Mission school which is in Kolkata and also she has completed her graduation from Scottish Church College, Kolkata. She is also interested in Dancing and Travelling.
Pooja married Arnoy Chakraborty at a Young Age. And unfortunately, their marriage didn’t go so long and they got divorced in 2013. After that, she engaged with her co-star, Kinal Verma and married him in Oct 2020. They became parents after she gave a Baby boy, the name of “Krishiv”.
Pooja usually works in Tollywood, Bollywood and Hindi TV Serials and reality shows. She made her debut in Bollywood in “Rajdhani express”, as Sunita and released in 2013. And also she worked in “Ramaiya Vastavaiya” (2013) and “Great Grand Masti” (2016).
Pooja also worked in many Hindi TV Serials. In these serials, she played various characters, such as ” Kayamath” as Vrinda, “Sarvggun Samparna” as Swara, “Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev” as Goddess Parvati, ” Qubool Hai” as Afreen, ” Darr Sabko Lagta Hai” Dr Radhika etc.
Pooja also participated in many TV reality shows, like “Jhalak Dikhhala Jaa 7”, “Comedy Nights Bachao”, “Comedy Classes”, “Comedy Nights Live”, “Big Boss Bangla”, “Comedy Dangal” etc.
Pooja Banerjee also worked in many Bangla Movies. She made her debut in “Macho Mastanaa” in 2012. In that movie, she played the character of “Diya”. Later on, she also worked in many commercial Bangla movies like ” Challenge 2″ (2012), “Loveria” (2013), “Rocky” (2013), “Proloy” (2013), ” Teen Patti” (2014), “Hoichoi Unlimited”(2018) etc.
She also worked in Tamil films like “Veedu Theda”, released in 2011. In that film, she played the character of “Meghna”.
Pooja debuted her appearance in Music videos by an Album, named “Aap Se Mausiiquii” in 2016 and with co-star Himesh Reshammiya.
