Payel Sarkar is an Indian actress who has mainly appeared in Bengali films and television shows. She has also appeared in Hindi Films.
Payel is one of the best icon role model of Many Bengali new actresses. She joined the BJP team in 2021. Payel sarkar was born on 10th Feb 1984 in Kolkata, West Bengal.
She belongs to a Hindu Bangali family and, her nationality is Indian. She completed her early education at PRATT MEMORIAL SCHOOL, Kolkata. And She has graduated in History from Jadavpur University.
Payel started her acting career in 2003. She came in a movie, name of “SHUDU TUMI”. In this movie, she acted a role of a side artist. And in 2007 she appeared in a lead role in a movie, “I LOVE YOU”, opposite of Superstar DEV.
She got fame and popularity from this film. and after that, she got many opportunities to work with the best directors and got more fame and respect.
Thus she started to appear in “CROSS CONNECTION”, ” PREM AMAR”, “LE CHAKKA”, “LE HALUA LE”, “BOJHE NA SEH BOJHE NA”, “BACHCHAN”, ” JIO PAGLA”, “MUKHOSH”, “MAGIC” etc. She also acted in many Bangladeshi Movies with Superstar SHAKIB KHAN.
Payel Sarkar also has appeared in a Hindi movie, “GUDDU KI GUN” in 2015. It was her debut movie in Bollywood and also she played some roles in Hindi Television shows.
Payel Sarkar has done many Web Series like “SHOBDO JOBDO” (2020), “MISMATCH SEASON 3” (2020) etc.
She has joined BJP in 2021 and is fighting in 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election from Behala Purba constituency. There are some rumours about her relationship.
According to the media, she was in a relationship with Abir Sengupta and Later on with Raj Chakraborty( Director). But more interesting thing that is she didn’t accept this news personally and never said any words about it.
